    Description

    A beautiful black apothecary bottle, European 19th Century design. Bottle measures 6 3/4”high to top of stopper. Diameter is 3 1/4” at base and 3 1/2” at shoulder of bottle. Bottle has a Latin inscribed label with gold border in good condition.
    Bottle was found in a antique shop in Belgium in the 1980's. I have not attempted to remove the stopper as it seems tightly held. A wonderful addition to any Apothecary collection as the Tincture was not commonly found in the US. The Tincture label indicates an Ethylated formula (Aeth)of Valerian.
