Huge Lot of 15x Antique French Apothecary Jars, Glass w/ Labels, Small & Large
Great lot of 15 antique French apothecary jars
Clear glass bottles with stoppers variety with labels
Small bottles up to large
Lot includes: 6 matching smaller bottles measuring approximately 5 1/2 inches
4 medium sized bottles, one older bottle with "inf:buchu" label measuring 6.5 inches, 2 matching bottles ( one bottle is labeled "Verat", and the other was never labeled) and the last which is labeled "ol Lavand" measure approximately 8.5 inches
5 large bottles, 3 matching bottles with labels "Tr Aloes", "Liq. Plumb. S.A" and "Syr. Rheiar" all measuring 10.5 inches, a "Lotio Calamin" bottle measuring approximately 10 inches and matching style bottle "Ol. Ricini" measuring 10 inches as well.
All labels except for the "Inf: Buchu" are labels under glass, all matching color schemes, black lettering on white backgrounds with gold accent. The Inf Buchu label is painted on and is the oldest bottle in this lot
CONDITION: Most of the stoppers have chips, typical wear for bottles this age, but all function.The Syr Rheiar's stopper is stuck and won't come out, perhaps will if forced but I don't want to damage it. The Ol Ricini has no stopper, it has a pour vial. Some of the labels have wear, one of the smaller bottles has a chip on the corner of the label. The Ol Ricini bottle has a hairline inner crack running through the bottle that cannot be seen in the photos. Overall the bottles are in great shape for their age (please see all photos and judge for yourself)
All these bottles are circa late 1800's.
