We are offering...
A wonderful lot of mohair Steiff animal toys from 1950s-1960s Germany. The
lot includes fourteen steiff toys and an additional (not Steiff) polar bear and 3
pom pom bunnies toys. All Steiff animals are 'excelsior stuffed' with shaved
wood. Three of the toys are jointed.
This lot would be a great additional to any Steiff or vintage stuffed animal collection.
Collection of Steiffs include:
Giraffe #6414-0 (late 1950s)
Zebra (tagless) (1960s)
Circus elephant (tagless but has silver button) (1950s)
Coco baboon monkey (tagless but has silver button) (1950s/60s)
Rabbit Niki, jointed (tagless)
'Susi' Cat #3310 (1950s)
Two 'Dally' Dalmatians #3310 (1950s/1960s)
Possy Red Squirrel #4310  (1950s/60s)
Mini Striped Tabby Cat  (tagless but has silver button) (1950s)
Two white Jocko Monkey, Jointed (one has its silver button, larger one has none)  (1950s)
'Molly' Dog (1950s)
Unknown White Dog (believed to be Steiff)
Condition:
Stuffed with Excelsior (shaved wood)
This lot of antique steiff animals is in beautiful age-related condition. All
but four of the Steiff toys have their yellow tag/silver mark. The front tan
dog's bell has come loose.
