    Description

    Listed for sale is an original George Nelson for Herman Miller Basic Cabinet Series Radio / Stereo Cabinet with its original receipt and documentation from 1949. This piece was acquired from the estate of the original owner and was kept in the family throughout its life. The cabinet was specified in walnut with a Jensen speaker. The original speaker was retained and original price tag was shown as 0. This is a beautifully preserved piece, which was just lovingly refinished to bring back the color to the original finish. The cabinet is in excellent condition. There were seemingly a couple of veneer repairs done, which were done nicely. The speaker grille fabric is in nice shape and seems to be more recent but original looking in its weave and color. The speaker has not been tested, but could presumably be used or replaced if desired. There is a drop-down door, which would seemingly be used for a receiver.
    The cabinet measures 56.5 inches long by 24 inches wide by 19.5 inches deep.
