Description

You are bidding on a Rare Original Circa 1880, "W&S Cough Drops", General Store or Drug Store Display Jar..  This is a fine piece of Early American Pressed Glass with the Top section of the bottom and Lip Handtooled..  I believe it to be Circa 1880 or so..  The jar is large and heavy measuring Eight inches in diameter(across) and 7&3/4 inches tall to the top of the knob..  The display Jar weighs a hefty 5&3/4 pounds and is I believe, Lead Glass..  The most amazing thing about it is that it is in 100% MINT Condition with no defects what-so-ever..  It is embossed on the top: "W & S Cough Drops" twice..  There is some Authentic Base Wear on the bottom edge but NO Defects!!  This would be the centerpiece in any General Store or Medicine Display..
