This Chimp has all of his or her fingers and toes. The original Steiff button with yellow tag are still attached to the left ear. The writing on the tag is illegible. The Steiff name tag is missing.

    Offered is an original Vintage Steiff Germany 4 1/4" Seated 7 1/2" Long Off-White Mohair Jointed Chimpanzee With Green Glass Eyes & Original Ear Button with Yellow Tag.  As noted above, this Jointed Chimpanzee is made from mohair and measures 7 1/2" long at the longest point when stretched out & 4 1/4" tall when seated.  This Chimpanzee's joints move easily and his green eyes are bright.  This Chimp has all of his or her fingers and toes.  The original Steiff button with yellow tag are still attached to the left ear.  The writing on the tag is illegible.
    As shown in the 8th photograph, the ear with the Steiff button & tag has a 1/8" tear.  The Steiff name tag is missing.
