    Description

    Early plush / stuffed toy animal -- BOXER DOG HAND PUPPET -- was produced by the Steiff toy company of Germany -- probably in the late 1950s or early 1960s. The mohair covered toy has a straw-stuffed head. It measures approximately 9.5-inches tall. The original ear button is still present, as is the finger cone mounted in the straw. However, both of the labels are missing. Overall condition: Solid VG+..... The toy has only light signs of use / handling -- a bit of soiling / fur-wear -- but it is generally in very nice shape. It will display quite well. See attached photos for more detail on the condition.
