    STEIFF teddy  Chimpanzee made 1960s ,hardstuffed ,mohair,fully  jointed, with working squeaker .
    Collectable old vintage German toy chimpanzee. It has  mohair fur  and nice little felt face with closed mouth. Hard filled with excelsior. He still has a working squeeker in his tummy.  His felt hands and feet are free from tears/rips/ repairs. Plastic eyes. There is a puncture in the ear where the Steiff button was. Head/arms/legs are jointed and all move freely. Sits well. If you compare the color of the hair in the folds under the arms - then you can see that the hair has faded a bit. This gives it a special vintage charm. Overall in very good vintage  condition.
