    Description

    Great vintage pharmacy or drugstore apothecary jar is blown glass with a cut drape or swag and star design. This footed jar is an impressive 16" tall, with an opening of 4 5/8". The lid finial leans a bit to one side, an imperfection from the making. Likewise, there are several bubbled spots in the glass from manufacturing. The rims of both base and lid have some tiny flakes along the inner edge (more so on the lid)---the rims of both have been ground and they may have occurred during that process. The jar is in otherwise very good used condition--no other chips and no cracks.
