    Description

    Vintage Steiff Perri squirrel with mohair. This appears to be the squirrel based on my research, however, it is missing the tail. It appears to look like Perri but there is no trace of a tail so I may be wrong. This is a very well loved animal as he is missing his eyes and maybe tail and an acorn? He does have the Steiff button with yellow tag dating him to after 1934. He is not soft and cuddly, more the strong, silent type! If you are an expert on Steiff, I would love to hear your thoughts.
