    Vintage Steiff Turtle, "Slo"
    , 1950s, 8 inches, has button
    This vintage turtle has a mohair body and a rubber shell. He is light brown with a black embroidered mouth and little bead eyes. He has his little silver toned embossed Steiff but has lost his
    Steiff name tag
    . He has four little light brown felt claws on all his feet. His mohair and shell are in very good condition after a light cleaning to remove storage dust. I amassuming he is from the 1950s as the collection he is from was mostly collected in the late 1940s to the early 1960s.
    Slo is very quiet and likes to sit near his person to remind them that "taking your time is always a good idea". He got tired of sitting in a box waiting for someone to love him again so for now he is sitting next to me watching me type.
