Vintage "SP. Camphor" Apothecary Pharmacy Glass Bottle

$ 31.67

Availability: 100 in stock

Description

This vintage "SP. CAMPHOR" LUG (Label Under Glass), Apothecary Pharmacy bottle was part of the history of the Justin Family Pharmacy, previously known as the Justin Drug Store, in Justin, Texas for decades. My client and her husband operated the pharmacy when they purchased it in 1946 and this bottle was there for many years prior to that time. They sold the pharmacy several years ago.
The bottle measures approximately 11" tall, and approximately 12.5" with the topper by 4" wide.
It weighs 2 pounds, 12 ounces, and holds (8) cups (64 ounces) of liquid. There are cracks and chips at the label location, (see photographs). On the bottom it appears to read "PATD MARCH" (?), but the other letters are worn away and very difficult to read. It will be double-boxed prior to shipping via UPS Ground.
SOLD AS IS-NO RETURNS.
